炸年糕 Deep-fried Sweet Rice Cake

材料 Ingredients
甜年糕 Sweet Rice Cake2/3 磅 lb (300g)
餛飩皮 Won-Ton wrapping適量 Some
炸油 Oil for frying5 杯 cup
水 Water2 大匙 Tbs

做法
1.將年糕切成 1cm x 1cm x 5cm小條。
2.將一條年糕放在一 張餛飩皮的邊上﹐再往另一頭捲。最後在邊上抹水將開口封起來。所有的年糕條都照樣用餛飩皮包好。
3.炸油燒到 350F (150C) 度。 放進年糕炸到皮酥脆。如果年糕是冷冻的則用 300F (175C) 度的油炸。
4.炸好的年糕放在紙巾上吸去過多的油份。
5.包好的年糕若不立即食用可放在冷凍庫保存。



POCEDURE
1.Cut the rice cake into 0.3"x0.3"x2" strips.
2.Place one rice cake strip on the edge of one won ton wrapping. Roll the won ton wrapping along with the rice cake to the other side. Put some water on the end of the won ton wrapping and seal the opening.
3.Heat the oil to 350F (150C) degrees. Deep-fry the wrapped rice cake until the skin is crispy. If the rice cake is frozen, deep fry in 300F (175C) degree oil.
4.Place the fried rice cake on paper towels to absorb the excessive oil.
5.Store the wrapped rice cake in the freezer if not eating right away.
